Lets see.Lets start with some logic and common sense.If a big company has a big profit,they have to have PEOPLE working for them to be able to make a profit.So if big business is booming then there should be plenty of employment.I guess someone is tell a big fat lie.I wonder who it could possibly be. hahahahaha

Sadly, you are correct.
Loreal ran a plant in my state, since World War 2.
It employed thousands of people....past tense.
In December, they shut it down, and moved the operation to MEXICO.
Boycott LOREAL!

yup. before trickle down economics (between the end of WWII and the 1980s) wealth grew on an even trend line for all Americans.since the 1980s when trickle down economics were kicked off (also known as Reagonomics, supply side economics and voodoo economics — the latter coined by George Bush Sr.) the growth in wealth for the top 2% has skyrocketed while the growth in wealth for the rest of us flat lined.
on another note Mitt Romney appears to have gotten himself in deep doo doo over what he did at Bain, when he did it and why he is refusing to hand over his tax returns. even conservative republican George Will speculated Romney has made the calculation that the political trouble he's gotten himself into for refusing to make his tax returns public is preferable to the trouble he would be in if he released them.
@Somefishytales - Ridgid pipe wrenches are my standard for plumbing tools. However they do do some outsourcing and even though made in China, they did do some quality checking.
I doubt if you even care who profits from products let alone who gets unemployed. You accused goodlessliberal of repeating a big fat lie and or doubting whether or not it is true, That is what you do without a grain of real study. I think you do a disservice of being a good American. The destruction of the American Middle class is happening and your statement shows your disinterest in caring if it happened.
Common sense says that if you give money to greedy people they're going to hoard rather than share.
The most bothersome aspect of it: The rich fucks were right when they surveyed the great unwashed masses from high above Central Park, and concluded that they, the great unwashed, are just stupid enough to fall for the propaganda.
We are drowning in jobs...it just so happens that "we," in this context, means "the Chinese" more so than "Americans."

@PPhilip - I can't help it if there are some greedy people in business,but not ALL are.It's just how some people are who run big companies.I do no one on here a dis service sir.I don't join in class envy.I have a small business myself(by small I mean me and my wife) I may make $40,000 a year and I work my butt off.Some years are better but I'm not rich with stuff or money by any means.I have my beefs with the way some big companies do business but it's because of certain circumstances that some companies have to do things the way they do.Gov regulations,employees who steal ffrom the company,etc.There are things that companies have to deal with that are not seen.If everyone was honest,things would run perfectly.it's NOT the business or how it makes a profit,it's the honesty of the people who run it.I don't look at something like this and call it truth,because it ISN'T.It's someones opinion about what may happen sometimes but is far from what happens with the majority of businesses.
It's like the Bible.You people scrutinize and tear the Bible apart looking for faults.Try letting the Bible scrutinize you and show you your faults.But thats the whole reason you do what you do,you know the Bible is truth.@HappierHeathen - Common sense says,you GIVE money to anyone and greed takes oveer and they want more.WORK for that money and you appreciate it more and spend it wisely.There is a difference between greed and being a good steward with your money.If you want to see propaganda,all you have to do is see how the news media operates.There is your BIG propaganda.

Give money to anyone and they are greedy with it because they want more(GIVEN TO THEM) make them WORK for it and they are wiser with it when it comes to spending it.Greed is different from stewardship.Give someone money and they think they can get more without working for it they waste it knowing they will get more.EARNING it by hard work,they will think twice how they spend it.Don't know how to explain greed any better.Yes,there is a type of greed that works hard and wants more and more but its all the same.It's people running the company not the company itself.
@Somefishytales - Really, other people work harder? I once thought so, too. Before I retired, I was a conultant to the Rental Laundry industry. In my last yearof consulting, a major US company asked me to deign a plant to be built for their expansion into Japan. I did and, at a meeting with the company president and the Japanese representatives, I explained the layout. When I was discussing productivity of each unit, I used production standards that were common to the industry in the US. "Oh, you can't do that" the Japanese representatives told me " our people will never work that hard."

I feel awful for not killing everyone who works sundown Saturday to sundown Sunday, as per The Bible showing me my faults. Should I amend this immediately?

I think the stats (read it in a book, and I am too lazy to find it online right now) showing what corporate CEO's make now in relation top say the 1950's, shows how greedy those at the top are when their pay is compared to those at the bottom. I worked at a discount retail chain after graduate school, cause it was the only job I could find. I had previous retail expereince but they told me they were not paying anyone more than min wage (because of the bad economy). I know the people at the top dont get paid less cause of the bad economy, but the people on the bottom suffer. Even the full-time workers and supervisors only made $1.00-$1.25 more per hour than I did at the bottom (thats insane! And not much motivation to move up in the company). I took the job because I needed one and thankfully got into a residency two years later. My residency ends this next year and my biggest fear is having to work retail and make minimum wage again while having to bay bills and student loans.
@Somefishytales - And it shows how little you see that the Bible can be skewed to mean whatever the hell you want it to mean. To you, it means grace. To Fred Phelps, it means hating gays. To MLK it meant racial equality. To the south in the Civil War it meant racial inferiority to those of African descent. To certain churches in Jamaica it means that marijuana is the sacrament of Christ. These people are all reading the same book.
@GodlessLiberal - But *my* interpretation is the correct one! Those other people are just wrong.
Remember, you have had people on this site argue that the Holy Spirit possesses every single person when they read the Bible and drives them to the exact same interpretation.
