Is Chick-Fil-A anti-gay marriage? "Guilty as charged," says the company president.

LOL title
I can honestly say I have never eaten at Chick-Fil-A.
That can't be true, right?
Is there a link or something to an article where they've made such a statement or a list of who they've donated to?
I love their food. Though there isn't a Chick-Fil-A anywhere near where we live. I've only gone there when we've been out of state.
WHAT??? I highly doubt this...
I do think I remember that they promote family (pro-family), but that is different from funding anti-gay organizations.

- All gay people molest animals
-Gay people have sex with animals
-Gay people will destroy the earth
-Gay people should be put to death by the government
They do believe that homosexuality is a sexual deviancy and that it is not healthy for society. It would be a stretch to call that believing that "gays will destroy the earth." These organizations promote marriage between one man and one woman. How that equates to being anything like Westboro Baptist Cult *cough* Church is beyond me.
LOL that "they support family" line always makes me laugh. If they support families so much why don't they donate money to organizations fighting against divorce and single parent households? They say they support "traditional biblical families" so does that mean 1 man with hundreds of wives and concubines? What about a man marrying his deceased brothers widow? Those are all "traditional biblical families".
@firetyger - Thank you.
I've never liked Chik -Fil-A. I don't understand how supporting the discrimination against any group in society is good for business.
@Kristenmomof3 - like I said, Focus on the Family. I know they are Pro-Marriage... but what is funny is I am against homosexuality, yet you dont see me posting against corporations that support gay marriage, nor do you see me endorsing companies that are Pro-Family. I think it is fine if companies want to express their beliefs... but just as I wont be NOT going to Disney because they have gay pride day, I also wont Not be going to Chick-Fila.
@ItsAll_A_LoveWar - @firetyger - @Doubledb - I added a link to the post to verify the basic message. But the organizations they have donated to DO support these ideologies very openly.
@firetyger - I agree! Both extremes in this are really getting on my nerves.
It really "grinds my gears" (best Peter Griffin impersonation, ha ha)

@GodlessLiberal - See above comment
But Chick-fil-a is sooooo good.
Well, I can definitely say that my feelings towards that particular restaurant have changed drastically.
eating there anyways. delicious food.
I haven't been eating there for years.
I am not bringing politics into my food. What a company does is their business. I am for gay rights, but I also enjoy a good sammich. Other fast food chicken sandwiches don't compare.
I really was hoping this wasn't true but... I mean... They are closed on Sundays because it honors the Sabbath... This makes sense... Sad, though... Because it was my very favorite fast food chain and I have had to go without it.
@GodlessLiberal - As @firetyger - pointed out, this poster is a lie. The link you provided does not back the claim that Chick Fil A "suports people who believe":
- All gay people molest children
-Gay people have sex with animals
-Gay people will destroy the earth
-Gay people should be put to death by the government
The Bible doesn't even say any of that. Why must you lie to try to compel people to think like you , if you believe what you think is right?
This is like arguing that if you buy meat from a halal meat store that gives a portion of its revenue to Muslim charities, that it supports terrorism. And Halal meat is fucking tasty.
I'm still waiting for those freedom fries.
It's not like it's been discovered that all this time the fried chicken has actually been fried gay people patties.
